In the Beginning

In the beginning, there was a stick and sand. Then came clay tablets and cuneiform. After that it was papyrus reed paper and a quill, the printing press, Xerox copiers and finally, the Blog.

Welcome to my clay tablet (I decided I was a little more advanced than a cave man, depending on who you talk to) I have every intention of putting out something at least once a week. So check back from time to time. I will try to keep you updated on past, current and future projects. Like the first book I started 35 years ago, “Aaron and the Stranger” up to my current work, “Caroline’s Secret” and “Yank” the upcoming third book in the “Haggenville Chronicles.”

If you are a writer yourself, let me know. If you are wanting to be a writer, I want to know that too.

Here is the writing prompt for this week.

11 to 13 year old, in the past, first person, romance.

I find prompts like this very helpful in building creativity and short stories for my Boxers or Briefs series.

See you next week,

Nathaniel Bennett
